Bergamo has always had strong ties with the Catholic Church; it can boast a rich heritage both artistic and cultural that IS splendidly conserved in its large town as well as its smaller hamlets.
We’d therefore like to propose a tour taking in some of these sacred places.
Day 1
Arrival and transfer from Milan-Orio airport to our depot where you can pick up your motorhome. Departure for the ‘Imagna’ Valley and the Cornabusa Sanctuary where you can join one of the numerous trail surrounding ‘Sant ‘ Omobono.
As an alternative, you could visit Almenno San Bartolomeo t and visit the Roman monument at Piana degli Almenno.
Day 2
Drive to Sotto il Monte, birthplace of Pope John XXIII, and visit the town at your leisure. Then on to the Sanctuary of Caravaggio across the Padana Plain.
Day 3
Sightseeing in the city of Bergamo and its ancient monuments.
Day 4
Drop of the motorhome and transfer to the airport
